Becoming an EVfriendly-Certified Sales facility assures your customers that you and your employees are trained and qualified in EVs sales.
The Certification Process
To become an EVfriendly Certified Sales facility, there are four steps:
- Download and read the program guide
- Have all employees complete the applicable EVfriendly online training
- Download the certification checklist and ensure you can check all the applicable boxes
- Complete the online application and verification form, and pay the registration fee
Required training
Only staff with EVfriendly training may provide services related to EVs. EVfriendly offers online training for sales staff. For all other employees, EVfriendly training is recommended but not required.
Ready to begin?
Step 2
- Complete the applicable EVfriendly online training
All employees are required to complete the applicable EVfriendly online training courses before you proceed to Step 4. The training is hosted on the ARA Training Centre of Excellence website.
Step 3
- Download and complete the self-audit checklist
The checklist includes all of the questions included in the application form. By going through it in advance, you will be prepared with everything you need when you apply for certification in Step 4.
Step 4
- Complete the application/verification form and fee payment
When you click the Submit button at the end of the application form, you will be sent to PayPal to pay the registration fee. You can pay by credit card, or with a PayPal account. The fee is $99+GST per business or business location.
