This Environmental and Occupational Health and Safety Management Plan is designed to be a guide for businesses with operations that include the recovery, transportation, storage, and disposal of damaged electric vehicles, (EVs), and hybrid vehicles, (HEVs), safeguarding the health and safety of employees, sub-contractors, and the public, and to minimize environmental impacts arising from EV recovery operations.

The document is in Microsoft Word format, so you can personalize and customize it to match your business. For example, on the cover page, you will find a placeholder for your company name, “This Company”, and the date.

There are fifteen instances in the document where your company name can be inserted. Do a search and replace, using the search term, “This Company” to catch all instances.

The document covers all three sections of the online course, so some of the material may not apply to your business. You may wish to remove content that is irrelevant. For example, if you do not attend accident scenes, breakdowns, or perform recoveries, you may want to delete sections that relate only to those activities. If you are a recycler, and you hire sub-contractors to transport vehicles for you, you will want to be careful to retain the sections regarding sub-contractor responsibilities.
