Ongoing Monitoring for Long-Term Storage
Regular Inspections:
• Conduct periodic inspections of long-term storage areas to identify
any changes in vehicle condition, such as leaks, temperature
fluctuations, or signs of battery instability.
• Use thermal imaging or other diagnostic tools to detect potential
issues early.
Environmental Controls:
• Maintain proper ventilation, drainage, and containment measures
in storage zones to prevent environmental contamination
or hazardous buildup.
Incident Readiness:
• Keep emergency response tools and fire suppression equipment
easily accessible near storage areas.
• Train staff on responding to incidents involving stored EVs, including
fire containment and hazardous material handling.
