EMS 3.10 – Licensed Transporter for Secondary Transport

Depending on the type and volume of waste, relocating EVs or high-voltage batteries may require compliance with British Columbia’s Hazardous Waste Regulation (HWR) under the Environmental Management Act (EMA), in addition to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) Regulations. As you will learn in this lesson, a key requirement for transporting hazardous materials in BC is obtaining a License to Transport (LT).
