• Ensure the vehicle is in an open area with no obstruction to ventilation. Damaged EV Storage and Isolation Recommendations EVs with suspected or confirmed damage to the high-voltage system should be
isolated to prevent accidents or fire hazards. The following storage methods should be considered: NEXT • Open Perimeter Isolation: • Maintain at least 50 feet (15.2 meters) of clearance from combustibles and structures,
as per NFPA recommendations. • Barriers should enclose three sides, with an open side maintaining the same 50-foot clearance. Damaged EV Storage and Isolation Recommendations EVs with suspected or confirmed damage to the high-voltage system should be
isolated to prevent accidents or fire hazards. The following storage methods should be considered: NEXT • Avoid fully enclosing the vehicle to prevent trapping explosive gases. • Barrier Isolation: • Use barriers made of steel, concrete, or solid masonry to isolate the vehicle. • Protect vehicles from rain or extreme weather using tarps while ensuring proper
